• Petr ZherdevObserver/ForecasterI’ve been skiing my whole life and riding off-piste since 2010. I first visited Gudauri in 2015 and kept coming back every year before finally joining the Snowlab Gudauri team, where I’ve been working for several seasons now spending each day out in the field. As a bit of a snow science nerd with a legal background, I naturally focus on risk assessment. I joined the Avalanche.ge project to share my knowledge and field observations, helping to make Gudauri safer and encouraging others to explore it responsibly.

Skis have been under my feet for almost as long as I can remember, and I love the mountains and the snow. Helping people stay a little safer out there is a good way to spend my time.
