A new storm is bringing a new layer of snow to the region - it may not be a huge dump, but as the snow stacks up, a storm snow problem will develop. Winds will re-distribute the snow and make if more reactive in some areas. Lower elevations might see loose wet activity. Deep slab avalanches also remain possible in isolated areas, on shaded aspects at high elevations. Level 3 means human-triggered slides are likely!
Stay tuned for updates.

8 Ski-tourers triggered a wind slab in Dedaena on a steep wind-loaded slope. They were all together, and 7 went for a ride. Lucky it was not bigger - everybody remained on the surface. Lesson: spread out!
There was no signifcant snowfall for 2 weeks before the current storm. Old surfaces include hard, wind-pressed snow, sun crusts, and weak surface hoar / facets. Deeper in the pack, decomposing previous storm snow, hard old wind slabs and thin facet layers sit above a sugary base layer which is present in certain areas. Propagating results were seen on this base layer on an ECT test, 2950 m, N aspect, 13/03. The snow depth is often over 200 cm, but in areas where the depth is less than 150cm, this deep layer could be triggered.
Most of the new snow will fall on Sunday, with a clearance starting late Monday. Up to 30 cm is possible. Light S winds, with a freezing level of 1600 m on Sunday morning rising to 2250 m by Monday midday.
Low visibility and difficult navigation.
Glide cracks and glide avalanches are active and can produce large avalanches - don't stop underneath cracks, or just avoid these areas completely!
